Homecoming Parade: Walk in the DCE Float

Are you and your child/ren interested in marching with Denton Creek during the Homecoming Parade on Wednesday, October 11th? If so, please complete this form by Tuesday, October 10th. Please read the below information about drop off and pick up times. 

• You will drop off your child at Cottonwood Elementary by 5:15 p.m.(do not park there). There is parking on the street, but carpooling will be the best option. If you are a parent or guardian of a child in PreK-3rd grade, we ask that you march with your child.
• We will march from Cottonwood Creek to the High School at 6 p.m.
• After the parade, you will pick up your kids at the CHS Student Parking Lot (Northside)- by the tennis courts around 7:00 p.m. Parents picking their kids up should park in the lot near the tennis courts.
• We can pass out candy; if you would like to donate a bag of candy to our marchers, please bring the bag with you on Wednesday, October 11th. 
• The route is about a mile long. No bikes are allowed; however, if you have a nonmotorized scooter, you are more than welcome to bring it; we ask that you wear a helmet. All DCE participants in the parade must stay by their float or truck.
